Swiss side lever, so-called cal. IV, about 1840. Interesting shock absorbing system is called parachute and
was invented by A.L. Breguet and used quite often with Swiss and French watches. There is also a temperature
compensation curb (a principle invented by J. Harrison, but widely used after 1800) T movement,
which clearly has been imported from Switzerland or France, has been finished in England.
my best guess would be: Swiss for the English market
