Shipping Instructions
Please address all correspondence and packages to:
USPS
Mr C Abell
PO Box 2687
Rowlett TX 75030
Telephone (903) 245 6542
If possible email me ([email protected]) that you are shipping an item and tracking.
Also include at least email or contact details in the package,
I receive many boxes and sometime a mystery box with no information arrives
I then have to try figure out who it belongs to and serviced needed or simply hold until you contact me.
How to Ship:
Please wrap all items well, especially antique watches and pocket watches; they are often not shock-protected. Over-wrap the watch in several layers of bubble DO NOT cocoon in clear tape, the only way I can open it then is to surgically open with razor blade wrap and surround with chips, paper, or similar materials; allow for the watch to move slightly in the box.
We typically use a 7x7x6 Priority Mail box. The watch should be well-wrapped and positioned so it rests in the center of the box. We have used this method for years and so far have never had a watch arrive damaged.
Method of Shipping:
Whether you choose First Class, Priority, Express Mail or registered, use whichever you feel most comfortable with given the value of your item for higher value items I recommend "registred post" insurance is much cheaper. I return the watch using the same method when possible. Please decide on the insurance you require, if any. Also advise us of the return insurance value. We recommend signature-required delivery.
Describe the problem and/or desired service:
Please include information in the package or via Email I sometimes get mystery packages with no details included to find out I spoke to a person on the phone days/weeks ago I get a lot of calls so please some info & contact details in box.
Include detail of the defect or service required if you email this I can add you to the log and mark it "due", and if the watch is to be used or if it is a display watch. If it is to be a display watch, note how it will be displayed: lying face-up or hanging upright. These details can help us determine how best to set the watch for your needs and can affect the cost of repairs.
Questions? Please call Chris (903) 245-6542 if you get the answerphone I do my best to return calls promptly,
