The Watchmaker who will work on your timepiece has undertaken full time formal schooling, and awarded a certification as a watchmaker, very few watchmakers are formally trained.
Trained and certified watchmaker will completely disassemble, clean and lubricate the timepiece and carefully adjust using a Witschi timing machine (Witshci are the finest timing machines available to the professional watchmaker ). Case will be cleaned to the owner's requirement.
Most crystals can be replaced for a modest additional fee.
TURNAROUND: In most cases, turnaround time is three to five weeks, urgent job can be completed faster by arrangement. Vintage pieces may take longer, due to need for custom-made parts.
Exposing vintage watches to water is not recommended.
For modern watches that are water resistant in design, we use testing equipment to ensure reliability when requested. We recommend having the water resistance of your diver's watch checked once a year if the watch is used for swimming or diving. PAYMENT: We accept Visa and MasterCard via Pay Pal; checks and money orders preferred. Sufficient time must be allowed for clearance of personal checks. ESTIMATES: We offer complementary basic estimates on services, restoration and repairs; you pay shipping should you decide not to proceed.
